A van pulls up in the grasslands of North America. A baby horse is shivering in fright, while his mother tries to calm him down. A man slams the van doors and walks out with a piece of burnt bacon dripping down from his pungent cheeks. The man takes a firearm out of his pocket and shoots it straight at the baby horse’s leg. The horse gets carried into the van, as he screams for his mother. Another horse is about to be groomed for the Olympic sport Equestrian. This sport should be removed from the Olympics immediately.

Equestrian is probably the laziest sport for a human being. Meanwhile, the Olympic games are supposed to get every competitor active. For example, the horse does really well and wins the gold but all the credit goes to the human who was basically riding the horse. After all the hard work and torture that the horse had faced preparing for the games, performance isn’t acknowledged. Don’t the Olympic Games exist to test skill, athletic ability and accuracy? Well, Equestrian doesn’t test the human’s ability and skill, it tests the horse’s ability!

Forget about the horses, even humans are facing problems! A human can’t predict how a horse is feeling, and if the horse is feeling mad or angry and does something bad, this could injure the rider fatally! Yes, maybe all sports in these Olympic Games have injury risks, but getting one broken leg in soccer won’t affect the rest of your life, but if a horse trips over a hurdle, the rider could possibly die! If something like this happens, this would give a very bad reputation to the Olympics, like Ray Gunn! Do you really want to see these terrible things in the Olympics?

How do you think these horses can jump over all of these show jumping equipment? Practice, right? Well, a horse is an animal, and no animal can be trained without a whip. And under the name of law, this is the worst type of animal abuse ever. Many people get in big trouble for like stealing a chocolate from the corner store, but when people hit their horses, they don’t get into any trouble. It’s not only that, but these poor horses get taken away from their families and their homeland to compete in these games. How would you feel if you were taken away from your family?

The baby horse, once taken from his family, had grown into a beautiful, male stallion. He is standing behind a white line, with a crowd cheering on him. He feels a very painful hit on the back, a pain he is familiar with. He can’t handle it anymore, so he falls down on his back. The rider gets squished and blacks out. Is this really what you want to see in the Olympics? No? Then in the next Olympics, how about you remove it.
